Pesto & Bacon Pasta
+1 Edgell Peas
This pesto and bacon pasta dish is as easy as they come. It’s ideal to throw together when the pantry is looking scarce and we’ve simply added peas for extra flavour. It’s great as it is, but there’s plenty of room for you to experiment with extra ingredients such as sundried tomatoes and bocconcini.

+1 1 CAN (220g) Edgell Garden Peas
- 350g packet penne pasta
- 6 short cut bacon rashers, chopped
- 4 heaped tablespoons pesto
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Cook pasta in one pot, cook bacon in another. Drain pasta and place in a bowl with bacon and the pesto then stir.
ADD DRAINED EDGELL GARDEN PEAS.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
You could mix up the added ingredient by using Edgell Green Beans instead.
Add bocconcini to give the dish an extra element.
As an alternative to basil pesto, try using sundried tomato pesto.
