Beetroot Berry Smoothie

+1 Edgell Beetroot

We all know banana and raspberries make for a great flavour combo, but adding beetroot is a tasty way of revving up your morning smoothie! This Beetroot Berry Smoothie is so creamy and hits the perfect balance between sweet and tangy. Get your day going with this delicious creation!

Ingredients

+1 1 CAN (225g) EDGELL SLICED BEETROOT

  • 2 medium sized banana
  • ⅔ cup frozen raspberries
  • ⅔ cup vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Method

Put banana, raspberries, yoghurt and ice into a blender.

ADD DRAINED EDGELL BEETROOT AND WHIZZ THOROUGHLY UNTIL YOU HAVE A SMOOTH, PINK MIXTURE.

Serve in a glass.

Tips

These are also delicious as icy yoghurt pops, just freeze the mixture in a popsicle mould with a stick for a cool spring treat.

For Halloween, serve decorated with gummy worms or bugs.

Healthy Tip: Choose reduced fat vanilla yoghurt rather than regular.
